HandicappedPets, the creators of Walkin's Wheels dog wheelchairs, was created in 2001 to support the carers of elderly, injured, and handicapped pets. They have a wide range of products, services, and support that make life with a special needs pet much easier.
The business was created by Mark C. Robinson in memory of his dog Mercedes, a slightly epileptic Keeshond, who was put to sleep before her time because Mark didn’t know any better and had no way to find out more. Now there’s a way.

Walkin Wheels customer survey
We have conducted a survey of existing Walkin Wheels customers and sought their feedback on the quality of their dog wheelchair. The purpose of this survey was to provide a standardised approach to comparing satisfaction between brands.
The response to these categories are subjective but provide an idea of overall customer satisfaction. These results should be read in conjunction with the more factual dog wheelchair product comparison sheet.

Why did you chose Walkin' Wheels?
The availability of a special dachshund vest. The adjustability. Light weight. Collapses down to fit in car trunk Their customer service is amazing, they really care about our pups. |
I read a lot of reviews and found great customer reviews on this one. Popularity. A lot of online dogs had them and it was easy to adjust. Plus it was pink! Online research lead me to believe that Walkin Wheels was best suited for my pet. |

Con'sI'd make it a bit more stable and strong without making it heavy. The wheelchair is great but sometimes it feels like it's a bit weak. The stirrups and harness could be softer. A harness that is softer, has thicker straps, and better chest support. And I would love an easier transition from her wheelchair to dragbag and vice versa without completely dressing and undressing her each time. |
