Recall training collars for deaf dogs
Recall training for deaf dogs has always been a challenge and it can be a barrier for many owners allowing off-lead fun. Training your dog to 'come' relies on a consistent command which is normally verbal, but in the case of a deaf dog often relies on a visual cue. Visual cues can be problematic particularly for an over excited or distracted dog.
The new WolfWill IPX7 e-collar uses a strong vibration signal activated by a remote handset, allowing you to signal your deaf dog while they are off the lead at distances up to 660 yards (approx. 600 m). With some initial positive reinforcement the vibration collar signals your dog to return for their reward, and you’re on you way to safe, off-leash adventures.
This particular model has had great reviews from other owners of deaf dogs for its success with recall training. Both the collar and handset are rechargeable, and the model that we recommended below is waterproof and has 16 different vibration settings to suit dogs of all sizes (and fur thicknesses).

"Purchased this for a very deaf border collie solely for getting her attention when she hyper-focuses on kids, animals, leaves... anything that moves. Best thing we could have purchased. We just needed something to grab her attention to look for us, and shock collars are awful. My 110lb bloodhound also responds very well to it on its lowest setting. Border Collie is 2 years old, hound is 7 years old."
"Got this for my Deaf Dog to get him to come to me. It works well being rechargeable saves you an arm and a leg on buying batteries. Works to let my deaf dog know I want him to come since yelling at him doesn't work LOL. The light on it is really dim so there is not much use to use it. The remote is nice and also Rechargeable and you can hang it on your neck of clip to a belt/pocket easy to put on a hook by the door."
"I had initially ordered a different product from a different seller and it didn't work. I received this one soon after I placed my order and it was incredibly user friendly. I did not have any experience and I had it working in seconds. My puppy is deaf and I love that this one does not shock him and it is easy to associate the vibration as positive. Now I have away to call my puppy to me. I highly recommend this product."
"I was hesitant in buying a collar for our deaf dog. I needed something to get his attention when he was further away from me. I also used it to divert his attention from activities he should not be involved in. I like that the color is waterproof and also has a beep on it. That seems to help bring attention to our hearing dog that we are alerting them to come our way . There is absolutely NO SHOCK FUNCTION on this caller. I tried it myself. With that in mind, it serves its purpose for our family."
