 Today we meet Fatima and her beautiful Pitbull, Cantú Gustavo Guevara (Cantú to his friends). Cantú was born with a deformed spine and hind legs which leaves him paralyzed and with no feeling below T7. He began to use his wheelchair at 5 months of age and he hasn’t stopped since! Thank you to the wonderful Fatima for sharing your story of life with Cantú and passing on some great tips for caring for a paralyzed dog. What is a regular day like with Cantú?8/26/2018 4 Comments PEARL Today we meet Pearl and her family from Miami, Florida. Pearl is a super tiny teacup Chihuahua who was born without her two front legs. She is also missing most of the nails on her hind paws, and her tail has a bend at the end. These deformities are likely to have been the result of Pearls mom, who was also a very small teacup Chihuahua, carrying a litter of three puppies. This was likely to have been too many for her to carry without complications.
